The Challenge
The existing menus were visually dense and difficult to scan at a glance, particularly in a busy café environment.
Approach
The initial focus was on simplifying the menus through clearer hierarchy and more intentional layout decisions.
Following this, I was asked to create a promotional campaign, carrying the design direction into posters and social assets.

Drinks
Old design
The redesigned drinks menu (left) was reorganised to surface more considered choices first, grouping familiar options lower down for faster scanning and decision-making.
Further
Refinement
Updated layouts prioritising scanability without losing the brand’s character.

Promotional poster & social assets
Following the menu redesign, I designed a set of promotional posters and social assets for a short in-store campaign. The focus was on creating bold, legible layouts that felt confident, while translating clearly across social formats.
Alternative poster explorations
A selection of unused poster concepts exploring different typographic and compositional approaches to the campaign.
